Celebrate Mild in May
Mild is one of the most traditional beer styles, and whilst it is enjoying a small revival in today's real ale market, it still only accounts for an estimated 3-5% of all real ale sales. Mild has perhaps been overshadowed in recent years by more fashionable beers such as golden ales and premium bitters.

Celebrate Mild in May
Here in Northamptonshire we are lucky enough to have some locally brewed Milds available, such as:
- Great Oakley Welland Valley Mild (3.6%)
- Hoggleys Mill Lane Mild (4.0%)
- Nobby's Tressler's XXX Mild (3.8%)
- Potbelly Ambrosia (4.0%)
- Potbelly Beijing Black (4.4%)
- Hook Norton Hooky Dark (3.2%)
What's Happening?
A number of pubs in the county will be serving Mild throughout the month of May, for example The George, Tiffield and The Piper, Kettering.
The Northants CAMRA Branch is also organising socials, visiting pubs which are serving Mild, see the Branch Diary for more details.
